Marion Oaks, located a stone's throw from lively and developing Ocala.

Marion Oaks is part of Marion County and is only a 15 minutes drive from Ocala. In 1999,The city of Ocala was named "Horse Capital of the World ', with in and around Ocala parading more than 1200 horse farms.

The rapid growth of Ocala came from 1970 with the development of Interstate 75 and the opening of Disney World,Magic Kingdom on October 1st,1971, Epcot in 1982, Disney Hollywood Studios in 1989 and Disney's Animal Kingdom in 1998.

This area is near several recreational areas and is situated in the famous golden triangle (click on photo). One hour drive to the west you come to the pearl white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, do this in an easterly direction and arrive at Daytona Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. If you want to surprise the children with a day theme parks, then you have less than 1 hour drive to Disney World Orlando, Sea World, Universal Studios and many other parks.

Marion Oaks is also one of the areas where the famous Spanish Moss grows. This moss grows in a certain type of oak, and can only survive where the air is pure. This suggests that Marion Oaks is located in the middle of a clean area.
