Citrus Springs
Citrus Springs, a central location with something for everyone. On a small 40-minute drive from Citrus Springs toward the Gulf of Mexico, one will reach Crystel River State Park, where you can enjoy the peace of an overwhelming nature and crystal clear rivers.

Seven major rivers run through Citrus County. The Crystal River, Homosassa River, Hall's River, Chassahowitzka River, Withlacoochee River and Salt. Of these fantastic seven, the great Withlacoochee is the most coveted by people who have a boat, and more specifically kayakers and canoe lovers. This river meanders over a distance of 115 km across different counties and crosses beautiful picturesque geological areas. Fauna and flora, a must for every nature lover.

This area is also known for the manatees. They are large mammals that live in the crystal clear waters. Manatees are herbivores, which spend most time grazing in shallow waters. They live of aquatic plants such as eelgrass. They appear in the marshy coastal waters of North and Central America, the Caribbean Sea and the West Coast of Africa. These mammals can be spotted throughout the year in the crystal clear waters of these rivers.

In addition there are 6 major lakes in Citrus County, which is ideal for fishermen, campers and trailers .The largest lake is here Tsala Apopka Lake Chain

It is therefore obvious that the region's Homosassa Springs and Citrus Springs are often called the “Theme parks of Mother Nature”. For the real sun knockers of us, there are the pearl white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Away of the mega-tourism, large hotels and crowded beaches, but bathing in a sea of calm and crystal clear water, with here and there a small picturesque restaurant, ditto bar to have a refreshing drink or small meal.. A little more South, it becomes more tourist with major marina’s and restaurants with more vibrant boardwalks.

The Deltona Corporation offers at this prime location both land and new houses.
